Equipment Forging¶
Early Qualities¶
Common equipment has no random affixes. A Shaping Stone adds the first affix and makes it Magic. Reinforcement Stones extend Magic equipment to at most three affixes. Tempering Stones continue adding affixes; at four the item becomes Rare, with a regular-affix limit of five.
Regular affixes use T4, T3, T2, and T1. Name, Tier, and the value rolled inside that Tier are separate; two copies of the same T1 affix may have different values.
Equipment from monsters, chests, fishing, or trades may generate with quality and affixes directly and does not need to follow that currency sequence.
Adjusting Affixes¶
- A Stripping Stone removes one regular affix.
- A Penance Stone replaces a lowest-Tier regular affix.
- An Edict Stone rerolls regular-affix values.
- A Reforging Stone clears eligible Runeforged forging and repairs durability according to removed affix count.
Material Upgrade¶
At a Smithing Table, a Reforging Stone, the target equipment, and a higher-material blank weapon of the same family or armor of the same slot can move the target to that material. The target retains its quality, affixes, variant, and other Runeforged data. Cursed equipment is ineligible.
